THE COMBINE OF LIFE FOOTBALL CLINIC
Since our inception, Five Star Heart has been the Lehigh Valley’s pioneer in providing the country’s most dynamic, inspirational one-day football clinic in the country The Combine of Life Football Clinic in partnership with Moravian University Athletics. The Navy Football Brotherhood along with a host of collegiate football coaches, friends, & family members UNITE to provide middle school youth from across PA & NJ with day of football, spirited competition, and a 5-Star Heart Message. The clinic includes:
Superior football instruction, non-stop drills, & one-on-ones
Sprints to raise awareness and money for another non-profit of IMPACT
Grueling team speed sled relay race among middle schools for donated Gillman football equipment & other prizes from our sponsors
The FINISH Scholarship Presentation & Mentor Program Participant Recognition
Motivational guest speakers
Over the past four years, Five Star Heart has donated over $2,000 to local non-profit organizations and earmarked $1,000 in the names of the following FINISH Scholarship recipients who shall be rewarded with their scholarship funding upon acceptance to a local community college, trade school, or four-year college in their senior year of high school. The clinic has provided over 1,000 kids with a day that they will always remember.

BEYOND FOOTBALL
In 2018, Bobby McClarin pursued the R.K. Laros grant and secured $35K to renovate the “Community’s Court” https://www.mcall.com/sports/varsity/mc-spt-aroundthevalley-20180114-story.html. Five Star Heart took its mission beyond game of football in the summer of 2018 as we partnered with former Villanova standout and Liberty High School graduate Darrun Hilliard, Moravian College Men’s Basketball team, and the Boys & Girls Club in hosting our first annual Darrun Day Basketball Clinic at the Boys & Girls Club of Bethlehem’s newly renovated basketball court for 80 plus student athletes. It was an awesome event for all involved. In 2019, the court was again put to use as Moravian College Men’s & Women’s Basketball teams hosted our first annual Hound Heart Basketball Series for over 120 local middle school boys and girls. We are here to PROVIDE superior instruction, INSTILL a sense of camaraderie & community, & INTRODUCE opportunities of sports exploration, competition, & positivity.
